Nick Knight

These photos of Devon Aoki and Bjork remind me so much of one another and are both shot by Nick Knight. I wonder if it’s intentional that they are so similar-looking? If one is a play off another or if they’re not even supposed to relate to each other at all?

  2. they do, its all mcqueen and mr.knight and its all dazed magazine and collaboration and that period before vespertine and the amazing tour with red feathered dresses, greenland choir and bare-foot margiela- thats what we reckon…

  4. They are both from 1997 right? I’m not the greatest Nick Knight nerd so I can only guess that he made two similar photos because it is a fun style to photograph. And also, Bjork is spectacularly Icelandic and amazing in general, so if the Devon Aoki picture is older, than he might have wanted to take a similar picture of Bjork because she is great.
