it’s not TOO late to brag about presents, right?

Two of my favorite artists. The Yayoi Kusama book carries special sentimental value too..we went to an exhibit of hers + 9 other artists in London with some of the Pop crew! And the first time I went to the new wing of the Art Institute here in Chicago, I wrote down all the names of artists I liked to look up when I got home. The only one whose name stuck in my head without having to write it down was Gerhard Richter. I have more to write on him later when I post pictures from the book but he is my favorite painter, we’ll leave it at that for now. I remember wanting to buy the book at the museum store but my dad said no, so this is lovely!

  2. Harold & Maude and Annie Hall are two of my favorite films in all of time. Have you ever seen Eraserhead?
    I bet you’d love a little David Lynch in your life.

    I wish I was alive during the 60’s and/or 70’s.
    You got all of these amazing artists, and Bob Dylan, and Allen Ginsberg..

    not to mention 66′ Dylan, complete with a jew fro, polka dot shirts, and an incomprehensible speaking style.

  3. just picked up that Yayoi Kusama book the other day. Have you seen The Veronicas? Great movie, with great fashion, and Wynona Ryder. What could be better?

  5. wow woody allen set is also a really cool present. manhattan, annie hall, sleeper. it’s really the best set of all.
